- Snow Removal Hotline
After a heavy snowfall, you may be wondering if you are in charge of clearing the snow. A Big Bear homeowner does have options when it comes to snow removal! The city does take care of certain areas of snow removal. Every area is different, make sure you call the correct city number. All three are listed below. Remember that the city will not take care of your driveway or walkways. You can pay for a business that will service your Big Bear home’s driveway or buy a snow blower. Before it snows, you will want to mark your driveways with snow poles to stop city workers from accidentally creating a berm in front of your Big Bear home.
“For more information on snow removal, berm reduction, current snow conditions and where to purchase specially marked snow poles for private driveways, call our Snow Removal Hotline at (909) 752-2830 (accessible 24 hours a day). The City of Big Bear Lake provides snow removal and berm reduction services for City residents only.”
