Natural Surroundings

Backed up against the ski resort, and loaded with Jeffrey pine trees, this area has excellent forest access to the many trails and mountain bike paths along the middle of the south side of the valley. Wildflowers make a gorgeous appearance in the spring and early summer and the areas slope up toward the forest provides a great view of them. With the exception of grey squirrels, ground squirrels, chipmunks and birds, most of the wildlife comes out during dusk or at night. Raccoons often make themselves at home on patios with bird feeders or someone at the door to offer food.
