Lower Moonridge Area Overview

This small area just below the main portion of Moonridge has mostly small cabins and chalets on relatively small lots. The many trees, mostly Jeffrey pine, bring lots of shade and a sense of being inside a pleasant woods. It is completely flat and conveniently close to shopping, as well as both ski resorts.  Lower Moonridge Real Estate is some of the most sought after in the valley.

Natural Surroundings

The National Forest borders the south side, providing easy access to several hiking trails that are also often used for mountain biking. The woodsy nature of the neighborhood invites plenty of wildlife to share the yards—raccoons, squirrels and many birds—or to traverse the roads—coyotes and, on rare occasion, black bears.
