High Timber Ranch Area Overview

Sitting atop the steep slopes that rise up through Moonridge, these homes have excellent views of wooded mountainsides and steep gullies. Underground utilities keep the views clean. It is a long, windy road up to this development, but the roads here are wider than those on the way up. Most lots are standard size but a few are larger.

  • At the top of the hill
  • Views of surrounding wooded mountainsides
  • New homes with modern amenities
  • Still plenty of empty lots
  • Underground utilities to keep views clear

Natural Surroundings

The trees at this altitude are a bit shorter than lower down in the valley, but the area is habited with pine and oak trees that bring shade as well as wildlife. Some of this and the area nearby is prime Pebble Plain habitat, a habitat that exists only in the Big Bear and Holcomb valleys and which hosts many rare, threatened and endangered plant species.

These ridges catch the storms that come through the area and often gather more snow than most other areas in the valley. The top of the ridge gets less wildlife than a little further down, but still enough to know you are in a mountain forest.
