Castle Glen Video Tour

Castle Glen

Castle Glen in Big Bear Lake, California is an upscale development with newer, mostly log style, homes.

Situated on a small hill in the middle of Big Bear Valley, many  Castle Glen properties have views of Big Bear Lake, Stanfield Marsh, Snow Summit or Bear Mountain Ski areas.

The utilities in Castle Glen are underground so you don’t have ugly wires blocking your views and the central location gives this neighborhood home owners easy access to everything Big Bear has to offer.

The western exit of Castle Glen is about a one minute drive from Big Bear Lake’s East Launch Ramp with easy access for launching boats on the lake.  The western exit also makes grocery shopping a snap at Big Bear’s largest grocery stores, Vons and Stater Brothers which are both within a one minute drive.

The Ski resorts are both less than six minutes away by car and downtown shopping and restaurants in the village are a merre eight minute drive.

Castle Glen homes show pride of ownership and the protective CC&R’s keep the area looking beautiful and well cared for.

Many of the custom homes in Castle Glen are accented with large posts and beams, log detail and wood carvings which add to their unique mountain style and make this one of the favorite neighborhoods for tourists to drive through to see Big Bear’s “Mountain Style” Architecture.
